The Park City Historic Mine Route combines two Park City passions: outdoor adventure and Western silver mining history.

The HMR is a storytelling route connecting 24 sites of historic interest to a free audio guide with colorful stories by local historians and mining experts. Along the trail, 18 interpretive signs add additional stories.

The full Historic Mine Route loop is about 7 miles, with shorter hike options and chairlift shortcuts for visitors with limited time or mobility. Free navigation tools also help you follow the HMR and explore Park City’s history at any of the mining sites along the way.
