DESCRIPTION:ArtWorks is a new professional development series for artists and creatives hosted by the Arts Council of Park City + Summit County \n\n\nArtists at all stages of their career are invited to join us at CREATE PC at 1500 Kearns Blvd for the first in a new series of workshops aimed to support local artists in gaining new creative opportunities\, building their businesses and audiences\, and connect to the artist community. \nThe first workshop will be Public Art 101\, led by Utah Division of Arts and Museums Public Art Manager Hannah Nielsen. Hannah will share with us her unique insight into the public art opportunities in Utah\, as well as discuss what makes a compelling public art submission and what kind of projects resonate with communities. We’ll have plenty of time for questions and networking as well. \nThis event is free to the community. RSPVs encouraged.

DESCRIPTION:Art on the Trails provides access for people of all abilities to envelop themselves in Park City’s natural beauty\, while enjoying exceptional performances and notable works of art. \nArt on the Trails provides pop-up style creative art activations and performances along McLeod Creek Trail between Copper Moose Farm Stand and Temple Har Shalom in Park City. \n\n\nEnjoy live music performances\, plein air painting\, and interactive art. After the tour\, stay to enjoy the Art on the Trails lounge at Copper Moose Farm Stand. There will be live music\, a Ketel One bar with delicious cocktails\, and opportunities to shop fresh produce and local products. \nTours leave every 20 minutes starting at 2PM until 4PM. Each group will be led on a guided\, easy hike to site-specific locations along McLeod Creek Trail. \nTickets: pcscarts.org/art-on-the-trails\nCost is $25 per person. Children 12 and under are FREE.
