Grand Hyatt to Debut in Utah
Expected to open in November just in time for the holidays, Grand Hyatt Deer Valley marks the Grand Hyatt brand’s debut in Utah. The hotel is part of the expansion of Deer Valley Resort that is more than doubling the resort’s skiable terrain. The hotel will feature 387 guest rooms, 40 suites, 55 residences and 38,900 square feet of indoor event space, including a 10,000-square-foot ballroom. Groups and guests are sure to enjoy outdoor terraces with mountain views, a year-round pool and world-class dining, including an après ski bar and grill, a signature restaurant and bar, and a coffee bistro.

Live Like Sam Foundation Empowers Youth
The nonprofit Live Like Sam was established in memory of 16-year-old Parkite Sam Jackenthal, an inspiring teen and successful freestyle skier. Through positive programming, the foundation inspires youth by providing them with tools to foster purpose, confidence and self-esteem. In collaboration with WeBeWell, Live Like Sam offers a complimentary six-week program, Thrive, for students in grades six through 12 in Summit and Wasatch counties. Over weekly Zoom sessions with cohorts, Thrive equips teens with crucial skills for managing stress, cultivating healthy relationships and developing positive habits. The foundation plans to host one summer session and two fall sessions this year.

A stylish new addition has secured a place on Park City’s Main Street. Palomino, a spirited clubhouse by Riverhorse on Main, boasts a curated menu by Executive Chef Seth Adams that features inventive small plates, refined cocktails, artisanal beers, decadent treats and fine wine. The space itself exudes warmth and sophistication with laid-back elegance perfect for an après outing or celebrations large and small. The game is a celebration of the city’s charm featuring iconic PC landmarks and businesses in place of the traditional Atlantic City squares.
